awesome poetry

Wow, so much feeling in your poems that my poetry may not do it justice. Although, I do use much emotion, my poetry is somewhat smaller, of four paragraphs always, and always rhyming. But I have been very highly commended on much of my work, thus far. So therefore, I would like your oppinion of my type of poetry...

Everybody has their own taste- my father would have understood and preferred your poetry- way over mine. he said poetry that did not have a rhythm and rhyming scheme was not poetry. My mother criticized my way of writing too - actually said a lot of free verse was "stupid". I th ink it all depends on the poem itself. Many of your poems have a soothing quality. Other rhyming poetry-not yours, but other's i feel sound like entries for a Hallmark card. And a lot of free verse can be almost as beautiful as music and some I have to agree with my mother- almost "Stupid!" Some of it sounds like the writer was playing a joke. SO -once again- it depends on the poem and how the writer uses words to get a message across. You d o very well at what you do- not to worry!!!

That was so kind of you to write such a nice poem just for me! I am not an addict but I would love to check out the wiki just to see what type of poetry people have contributed- actually I may have suffered from some forms of addictions,although maybe not drugs or alcohol, and I have been in the stae of recovery many times. I will definitely check out your other wiwis I haven't checked out. Thanks again for the poem- you are the best.

Yep, I am an addict in "Recovery" and very proud to have made it through. I am going on my third year, this year...But, as you said, I too have been in a state of recovery from life events, and struggles...I am so glad that you like the poem I made for you, I meant every word...I got interupted yesterday when I was replying to your email, and lost the letter I was writing...I shall be replying there soon, as well ! !Have a great day ! !
