I really, really need HELP in designing and adding stuff like icons to my wiki. I'm kinda new to wetpaint.

Do you have any images stored on your PC? click on image on easy edit and pull up your images and choose a few that you think best suits your site and
add them to your page. Using your own personal images, if you have any can add a very nice touch. If you don't have any you did yourself you can always scan other images if you can and illustrate your site with those. Wetpaint offers many basic templates that you could combine the images with, and you should have a well designed wiki!
