Yellow and Bluegreen Turquoise Necklacehome - Artful Shares Wiki

Hello, my name is Shelley-
I've had my Arizona Earthshinessite up since about April. Now I am trying to connect with other creative people too learn what others have been able to do with their talents on the net. I love to paint, and I bead gemstone jewelry and do many other creative things.
I had a 14 year career as a lead graphic designer and art director. I designed advertising art for everything from motorcycles and snowmobiles to radio station art and educational material. I even did art for a drag racing company for 4 years. About 2.5 years ago I was in an accident and now I am a traumatic brain injury survivor. So...instead of getting paid to be creative on demand, I do it whenI feel good enough to.
I'm still finding my way around here, any advice would be great, and I'm not sure what is cool to "contribute" to others sites. What would be appropriate?

I guess I'll start by adding the following, tell me if it is ok.
Happy Friday!

Hi. Your jewelry is great. I t is similar to some of the stuff I do. I have a website called The Bead stringer's meeting place- check it out, and you will see a lot of my stuff. I am sorry about your brain injury though- how scary for you. I am trying to survive life with schizophrenia. Not easy but it could be worse. It hit me at a young age- thirteen. I am almost fifty two now. I am lucky I can live alone and not in an institution or a group home although i have had some pretty extensive hospitalizations They don't really know what tot do for me completely, tho some medications have been proven helpful.. Artful shares is a great site. Paintchip, who runs it is a good person. Anything you create is art so I guess on these art websites anything like poetry, photography, artwork like paintings , dgital art, bead stringing, or just about anything like that goes. You sound like an interesting person and I would love to see more of your stuff. I have another site called schizoclaud which is open to anyone's creative endeavors especially those that are coping skills with major mental illness. Good luck to you and hope to see more of your work! Claudia
